SABRINA GINTER

THE SPA AT OLIVINE FOUNDER

Sabrina’s story is a familiar one. It starts with a long history of pain, mental illness, anxiety, and frustration. And it ends with a mission. Empowered to take charge of not only her personal health but those she loves as well.

I remember being a young girl standing in the kitchen of our house being told my mother is sick and she won’t be coming home for a while. Tears of every emotion that you can think of overcame me, it was then I knew what and how mental illness could creep into our lives in a way that changes you forever. That day I made a promise to always remember how lucky I was and to take care of ourselves. It's a priority, not a luxury.

Going into a profession with a different mindset than most. I fell in love with this industry to care for others and help make them look and feel great. I believe if you take care of yourself first caring for others is easy. This has always been the passion behind every person I have had the privilege to call a client and now lifelong friends.

With over 20 years in this industry, I have learned that it takes a team of many to create balance. I started my journey early on, owning and operating a salon and spa. Traveling across North America for education and leading a team to successful accomplishments. After 7 great years, I made the choice to sell and shift my focus to caring for my growing family, but never seemed to lose the core values, or urge to be a leader.

Fast forward to a current world of frenzies and a passion for this industry and others. I began to research how I could help. During my first week working at the salon for Madison and Aubrey, I knew they had hit the mark and were building something beautiful, with Olivine, and right then I wanted to be a part of it. Creating a safe space to slow your mind, relax and take care of yourself. Trusting and believing that everyone’s journey to better themselves should be the top priority,  The Spa at Olivine was established.

Rachel Anna

THE SPA AT OLIVINE
RMT

Rachel Anna has always been fascinated with the body’s ability to heal and first trained as a Yoga teacher in 2010. After working with groups, she realized that she’d like to work with clients on a more individual level. This led her to study and graduate from the Registered Massage Therapy Program in Vernon, British Columbia in 2014.

After working in a multidisciplinary clinic in BC,  she continued her journey in Europe and the UK for 6 years.  She has worked with a wide range of clients including those recovering from injury, people managing chronic pain and those who are looking for relaxation and stress relief.

Rachel Anna's main goal as a Therapist is to help you feel more comfortable and at ease in your body. She utilizes a variety of techniques ranging from specific Trigger point work, Neuromuscular Therapy, Deep tissue and Warm Bamboo Massage to more subtle techniques like Craniosacral therapy and Visceral manipulation. Relaxation is always woven into the treatments as she believes that a soothed nervous system is essential for healing to occur.
